Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Lampling LLC for the use of Lampling. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Lampling writes a personalized, AI-generated bedtime story for your family on school nights and delivers it by email and a private web library, based on the family details you provide.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide, and you confirm you have the right to share details about anyone you add to a story.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plans begin with a 5-night free trial. When the trial ends, your plan begins and renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Payments and any applicable taxes are processed by our payment provider. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal.

You can cancel any time from your billing page or by emailing hello@lampling.com. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

Your content

You keep ownership of the family details you provide. You grant us the license needed to use those details to generate and deliver your stories and to operate the service.

AI-generated stories

Stories are created by AI from the details you provide. We apply safety screening, but AI can make mistakes, so stories are provided for family entertainment and we encourage you to glance them over. The finished stories are yours to read and enjoy with your family for personal use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or use it to create harmful, illegal, or infringing content.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lampling LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
